CYPD5225,CYPD4236. On the back of the adapter, there are optional positions for resistors and capacitors that can be populated depending on your programmer requirements.
XRST pull resistor: The position marked (R) next to PULL RST is used to add a pull-up resistor for the XRST pin if needed.
SMBus resistors: Pull-up resistors for SCL and SDA to Vtarget.
INT resistor: Embedded controller interrupt/GPIO
CLK resistor: Used to pull the SWDCLK line.
CCC capacitors: Decoupling capacitors for Vtarget, VDD, and VDDIO lines, used when additional power filtering is required.
Note: Some programmers still need updates for CYPD chips—if 3.3V SWD fails, start at 1.8V or 2.5V to initialize communication (matches the chip’s initial low-voltage logic and wakes SWD), then switch back to 3.3V (or 5V if supported by the chip). .
